I am not saying that a preference for a certain breed makes you a bad person. I am saying you can find that specific breed, color, gender and any other characteristic you prefer without bringing more dogs into a world that is already overpopulated.
I have been the one to clean up a breeder's mistakes. I've been there to take care of the puppies the breeders didn't give a damn about when they no longer made money for them. If a breeder honestly cared about the breed they CLAIM to love they wouldn't breed puppies AT ALL.
Animal rescue people all over the US have destroyed their homes, finances, credit ratings, and personal relationships. WHY??? What are we doing it for??? So that some worthless piece of human shit can dump yet MORE animals into our homes and overcrowded shelters??? DESTROY our bank accounts so yet another worthless piece of human shit can dump declawed cats into our managed colonies??? Abbott was a purebred blue eyed Persian. He was dumped into my managed colony after someone had declawed him with pliers. Is THAT what I go through hell for???
From May until July of 2001 I had a grand total of 39 cats in my home. Yes, you read that number correctly. THRITY NINE. What I had was mothers and nursing kittens.
When YOU have been the one to walk through an animal shelter you can tell me all about your supposedly "good" breeder. When YOU are the one dragged out of bed in the middle of the night because someone left kittens on your dooorstep you can tell me about your supposedly "good" breeder. When YOU are the one dealing with a kitten someone threw into a washing machine, and yes, it was running, you can tell me all about your "good" breeder. When YOU are the one called to a shit neighborhood at four in the morning to rescue a puppy you can tell me about your "good" breeder. When YOU are the one who ran to the rescue of a dog because someone was kicking the crap out of it you can tell me about your "good" breeder. The dog being kicked around was a four month old pure bred Chow puppy. Were YOU the one to ddeal with his bruised ribs??? Were YOU the one to see the fear in his face??? Were YOU the one to hold the puppy and tell him everything was going to be all right??? Did YOU ever put yourself at risk to rescue a dog someone threw into the middle of a busy street??? Were YOU the person who got down on your hands and knees in front of a terrified rottweiler talking to her for whatever you THOUGHT your life was worth??? Are YOU the one who walked into a high kill shelter and told a cat "Not to be melodramatic my friend but come with me if you want to live???"
NO. YOU weren't the one to deal with ANY of those things. Would you like me to continue??? I could go on until well into the next millenium. I could also make you sick and at this moment I would happily do so.
I have one purebred dog in my home. Yes, he has a pedigree, supposedly good breeding and if I wanted his papers I could get them. I would rather tell you about the day this dog saw sunlight and put his feet in grass for the first time in his life. He was six years old when those things happened. I would also tell you about the dogs that came out of that hellhole at the same time he did. The majority of them aren't as lucky. Sixty percent of those dogs didn't make it out alive.
If ANYONE wants to lecture me about their "good" breeder they can do so AFTER they have walked one mile in my shoes or done even a fraction of my job.
ANYONE breeding dogs is making my job harder. ANYONE breeding dogs in this world IS A STUPID WORTHLESS CUNT and SO IS ANYONE WHO DEFENDS THEM!!!
